HAMPSTEAD
PINES Hampstead
Pines is located in beautiful coastal South Eastern Coastal North Carolina.
Hampstead is only 15 minutes north of cosmopolitan Wilmington with
its fine medical care, nightlife and cultural amenities.
30 miles to the North is Jacksonville, North Carolina and the home of
the Camp LeJeune Marine Corps base, one of the fastest growing military
installations in the country. The
Hampstead area is home to the Topsail School District, one of the top rated
school districts in North Carolina. Hampstead
Pines is also only minutes from Topsail Island, an Atlantic Ocean barrier
island with outstanding sandy beaches, restaurants and fishing
piers. The Hampstead
area is also blessed with numerous golf courses and marinas.
Many people fish and enjoy water sports in the nearby Intracoastal
Water Way, sounds, rivers and the Atlantic Ocean.
Hampstead
Pines is one of the nicest communities in the area. It is a small, 59 home cul-de-sac neighborhood of beautifully
landscaped and stone front homes ranging in price from $240,000’s to
$400,000’s. The neighborhood
has street curbs, sewer and water so you will not find negatives like road
ditches or private cesspools and wells.
Hampstead Pines also has on site boat storage.
Hampstead
and the entire coastal South Eastern Carolina area have been cited by
numerous publications as one of the most desirable places to retire or to
start a business. The
reasonable cost of living, sunshine and temperate weather are all
attractive. When you add in the
coastal life style, low taxes (there is not a city tax), and a growing
economy, you have a rare combination of benefits.
Hampstead
has four seasons, but spring and fall are enhanced, while winter is usually
only a month or two. Spring
flowers start to appear in mid February and fall flowers often last thru the
winter. Snow is rare and a good
reason to take the day off to “play”.
Property values in coastal North Carolina have continued to rise even
though nationally real estate has slowed.
Growth in infrastructure such as county water, a new high school, and
the addition of the I-140 Wilmington By-Pass has positioned Hampstead for
future growth The
good news is that our cost of living, including home prices are still
affordable compared to other highly desirable coastal areas. Please come to visit, but
don’t be surprised if you decide to stay. |
